If you reboot is the problem still there?

Please tell us what Windows OS you are running (with Service Pack Number).

Have you run any security program scans to see if it is a possible infection?  If so, what programs did you scan with?

Have you added something (programs) recently to your system?

I don't place much faith in AdAware being adequate as a scan for infections.

Please do the following:

1.  Go to the link below and download/install HiJackThis.  Install it in a special folder on your hard drive....such as in a folder at C:\Program Files\HiJack

http://www.majorgeeks.com/download3155.html

2.  Run a HiJackthis scan and post the log back there so we can take a look at it.

Are you saying that you have had this Win32 problem for over 2 years?

Have you ever gone to the Windows Update site and upgraded Windows?  The Windows info you posted does not say you are on Service Pack 1 or Service Pack 2.

Would you please run a Hijackthis scan and post the log of the scan back here.
