Alternate firewall to ZoneAlarm?

Lately ZoneAlarm has really been messing up my internet.
 
I try to open up firefox wont load, can't connect to programs etc.
 
Does anyone have an alternative to ZoneAlarm that you would recommend?

Sadly, this is another fine product bought up by Symantec (late 2005) in their bid to kill of everything that competes with 'Norton Whatever', but the free version works well, even if it's a little old now.
 
Kerio works after the 30-day trial, a bit basic (like ZA compared to ZAP or ZASS) - find it at http://www.sunbelt-software.com/Kerio.cfm
