I just installed 5.0.372 and when I try to go on the internet (dialup), it dials, verifies user name and password, then when it gets to the part where it says "regisering on network" (or something similar), I get a blue screen saying an error was found and that windows was shut down to avert damage.

I have winXP SP2, and am running zonealarm pro

any help appreciated

You are talking about Kaspersky AV Personal , aren't you ?

If you installed KAV without disabling its , say , firewall ( " network protection ) , probably you are with a FW conflict , i.e. , ZAP & KAV's one .

Sterrn , don't get me wrong . Of course we will try to help you on that here , but I think that a Kaspersky's issue would be more professionaly solved over there .
