Welcome to the forum pink_roses StatusClient is part of the HP printer software. Here is a link that briefly describes it: http://www.processlibrary.com/directory/files/StatusClient/ Perhaps it has a live update option and it is trying to check for new updates of the software. Is there a control panel element that allows you to set options for the HP printer? You might also check your services usings START-RUN and type in services.msc It might be in as service as well. As to whether you should change its startup status as a service (disable, manual, auto), I cannot say. I cannot find anything concerning dummy-exes. Is there a file on your hard drive named dummy-exes? If so, please attach it to an email and send to submit<at> misec.net Magnus will look at it to see if it is malicious. <at> = @
