When is Enough - enough?

Hey Good People! Just throwing this out there to get some feedback.

When should one stop getting anti-whatever applications? Some of you may know me already, I have a "few" that are either running at all times or ran weekly.

TrojanHunter
aSquared
Spybot S&D
Ad-Aware SE Pro(though not trusting it like I used to)
SpySubtract
CWShredder
Microsoft Anti-Spyware(Always on)
Bazooka
PestPatrol
Spyware Blaster
Spyware Guard(Always on)
SpyCop
X-Cleaner
KAV Full-On with Ext Bases(Always on)
Stinger
Various "Stinger-Like" scanners/removers

Online Scans:
HouseCall(Both original and New Beta)
PC-Pitstop's Panda Powered Scanner
McAfee's Free Scan
Symantec Online scan

Acronis True Image (just in case) & bi-monthly images.
NAT router - with firewall rules
Outpost Pro

See where this is going?
Also, I get suggestions to get BOClean... where will I put it? What will it get that my arsenal doesn't already cover(twice)?
TDS-3? Am I not bulletproof YET?

Please, no "Get Firefox"... I use Opera.  Wink

I refuse to do the whole "Only Trusted Sites"/"Safe Hex" thing. I enjoy going to new(some seedy) places.
So far, nothing has successfully made it into my computer(s). I get lots of flags thrown up about things TRYING to get in, whether it is a driveby or some trial-ware/freeware that happens to be "bundled".
Most I ever find is cookies:
CrapCleaner
WindowWasher
(see above list of scanners also)

Do I need a new Foil Beanie?  Undecided

 Hello  ,  dadkins

I  use  half  the  defenses  you  have  , on-access only   TH  ,  KAV Personal 5  and  8Signs  FW  .
Against  Spyware/Adware  I  have IE-SPYAD , Ad-Aware , SpywareBlaster , Spyware Shield  , SpyBot S&D and MS AntiSpyware Beta - some  protecting   my  IE  settings  others  for  a weekly  full-scan  .Of  course  everything  updated , including  my  OS  .
I  had  others  apps  which  I  don't  care  to  renew  the   licenses  and  others  that  I  simply  uninstalled  and  don't use  anymore ,  like  TDS and  Ad-Aware PLUS .

Well  ,  in  all  these  years  I've never  been  infected  . No  trojans , no viruses  and  no  spywares  or  hijacks .Clean .

I  think  that  it's  all  about  mind-set , i.e. , we  that  frequent   the so called  security forums ,   are  not  an  easy   target .

BTW  ,  you  could  add  to  your  arsenal  an  app  with  the same  name  of  your  Subject  in  this  thread   : Smiley

Thanks for the reply mozar!
Some of the sites that I stumble onto do "try" to install "items" but they get thwarted rather quickly. System wide scans never find anything of any importance...

Thanks for the link, but I rarely use IE(based) for anything.

Happy Surfing!
