Hi All,

Has anyone tried various Reg Cleaning software?
If so what one did you like?

I have not read a good thing about them. Many say they don't work, or they messed up there system.

Windows can't even come up with a good one!

Thanks,

Yeah, try RegCleaner, from http://www.jv16.org . Claire reported sometimes getting a failed connection, but it always seems to work for me.

They've also got a few more interesting tools (with names like 'Brutality', you know they won't mess about - must be that Finnish sense of humour again).

Hi,
Jv16 1.1 is IMHO better than Regcleaner.

  Hello  ,  wiseguy

I  agree  with  Ian and Claire about "JV16" but if we are not talking about freewares  only  "System Mechanic" is one of  the  most stable and safer to use registry cleaner ( even if a little  overpriced , I think )  :

I read about another program called EasyClean. Has anyone used it?

Thanks all,

wiseguy ,  you  can  try  System Mechanic (30 days trialware , if I remember) .The  program , besides registry cleaning with several options and levels , is also a privacy and tweaking tool .I can say that it is really well designed and a safe companion to JV16 .

Ain't that the truth.
