A question about port 8000 and netbus

I use a chatroom at quitnet.com ( breaking a bad habit here),
it connects through my port 8000, four timesatguard has blocked netbus, but only while in that chatroom,  its not irc.
I had read its a shoutcast port also. I have searched my computer with trojan hunter and nortons, and nothing is in my computer, an no program with server rights.
Just wondering if anyone knows anythng about that port that I'm not finding?
