Hi,
When I use "sweep and turn off" I receive a message"VSmon
does not answer"and immediately afterward I get a BSOD.
The only solution is to unplug my pc.When I reboot the
problem remains.
Has someone any solutions?
I use windows98 and the"normal" closing procedure works fine
Any help will be appreciated Sad

VSmon is the TrueVector service that runs as part of ZoneAlarm. It is started via the registry in Windows 9x/ME, and as a service in NT/2000/XP (it enforces the security rules which you configured on the Zone Alarm screens).

Check your settings for ZA and for your AV (NOD32, isn't it?). I run ZAF with full security settings, but without the automatic internet lock, alongside AVG without problems, so I suspect it's either a access setting in NOD, or else you should set NOD to ignore VSmon.exe

Try shutting down ZA first, then do a sweep and shut off - just to make sure NOD32's working fine Smiley

Ah, well, these things are often a mystery to many...

Except that you posted a NOD32 update message in 10> a week ago, so I just guessed  Grin

Glad it worked, though!
