Have you ever experienced an anomaly where the Look ‘n’ Stop Ruleset file was emptied, not deleted, just emptied, and when this occurs you aren’t aware of it for some time after that? It is true that Look ‘n’ Stop complains when there is no rule-set file available, but we cannot say the same when an empty Ruleset file does exist, a file exists but just has no contents… While I have never experienced such a problem, it has been reported to happen with older systems, or to be specific, on Windows 98 systems. I do believe that this is a potential problem that could also happen from an initiating attack for any user whom is on whatever Windows Operating system… Because of the potential problem as mentioned above, and because of a user request, I introduce a first actual Look ‘n’ Stop Firewall plug-in done by a third-party. It is small, simple plug-in and the only thing necessary to-do is to download the file straight into the Soft4Ever\looknstop\ folder, NO activation required for this plug-in, but check-marking this plug-in in the Look ‘n’ Stop plug-in area will disable its function. Ruleset Validator v1 – PluginRlsValidator.dll - http://www.mntolympus.org/down.....idator.dll All user’s Look ‘n’ Stop plug-in requests should be done on the official Look ‘n’ Stop forum and in the topic ‘Plugin Discussion’ that can be conveniently accessed by visiting http://www.wilderssecurity.com.....p?t=160257 …
