Anyone tried both? Which is the preference for true "effective protection"? Huh

I'm not mega-paranoid, but I run Ad-Aware, Spybot S&D, Kaspersky 6.02 Trojan Hunter 4.6, and, since yesterday, Comodo. I find Comodo easy to setup, but stil with enough flexibility and customisation options to give me confidence that it will do an adequate job. I would recommend trying Comodo first, simply because it's free, and if you find weaknesses or things you don't like, you can uninstall and ty Outpost and the  experience won't have cost you a dime.

I have since been using COMODO Software, ie> CBOC, CPF, VE.
Love them all! Grin

I'm now finding Comodo's Defense Plus to be a real PITA, especially when it's slow to recognise trusted app.s
