Just to remember some last posts here , perhaps of your interest :
1 ) If you want a free to home users say , almost a FW , there is the
" CHX-I Packet Filter "
But , first , you need to spend some months to read the CHX-I documentation :

2 ) There is no more a Phant0m's Site supporting LOOKnSTOP FW :

3 ) And , yes , 8Signs and Visnetic ( same app with different names ) are indeed FWs .
At least the 8Signs' developer , James Grant , think he has coded a FW and 8Signs' users also think that they have installed and are using a full working Stateful Packet Inspection FW .
Corrigendum : By Phant0m's insistence I must say that "CHX-I" * is * a FW indeed . Conceptually Phant0m is right as CHX-I does filter packets , but I insist that it has the most incredible learning curve I've saw.
