This procedure explains how to correct the error message Error: Directory not found (name of missing directory) that appears in the Scan Report window during a TrojanHunter scan. This error will occur if TrojanHunter cannot locate a disk or folder during the scan. The disk either no longer exists or is not active. Or the folder has been been removed. If the error references a missing disk: 1. Open TrojanHunter scanner GUI 2. Click on the Scan icon in the left icon bar 3. In the scan tree, uncheck the missing disk Note: If the disk hardware has been physically removed from your system, follow the procedure below. If the error references a missing folder: 1. Be sure that TrojanHunter scanner is not running and the GUI is closed. 2. Using Search or Windows Explorer, locate the TrojanHunter file named TreeState.dat 3. Delete TreeState.dat 4. Open TrojanHunter scanner GUI. TreeState.dat will automatically be regenerated. 5. If you need to customize the disks and folders that you want scanned when doing a Full Scan with TrojanHunter, click on the Scan icon in left icon bar. Customize the scan tree.
