Vista SP1/SP2/SP3, Windows 7 SP1 Disk CleanUp Tool
« on: Jul 13th, 2008, 3:29am »

This procedure is used to clean up your hard drive after upgrading to Service Pack 1, Service Pack 2 and Service Pack 3 on Vista.  It permanently removes the backed up files replaced or removed during the installation of the Vista SP1/SP2/SP3 to gain more hard drive space

Warning:  Once this cleanup tool is executed, you will no longer have the ability to uninstall Service Pack 1, Service Pack 2 or Service Pack 3.  The tool makes SP1/SP2/SP3 permanent on your computer.

To run the Vista SP1 Disk Cleanup Tool, follow the procedure in the link below.  You should regain ~ 1 gigabyte of disk space.
