Valuable Debugging Tool

Autostart Explorer is really cool and is useful when trying to find where an application is started.  Saves manually checking all these areas individually by showing them up on one screen.  Useful for debugging and provides clues on how Windows is put together.

I’d certainly agree with you clevelandtxus. I also find memstring useful / interesting for delving into the unknown. In fact, all the tools go to make up a great collection of utils to aid in Trojan detection.
I wonder what tools Magnus can come up with next?  Wink

Yeah this is one of those things that you just kind of wonder why wasn't something like this not included in the original operating systems.  I think this is a classic case of stupidity in the Windows design team.

Agreed, although even Linux, if you just click "OK" to the default selections on many distro installations, will fire up many more services or daemons than the average home user needs. Many of these daemons can present significant security risks that Windoze refugees may be totally unaware of.

Well having programmed and networked other OS's I understand the risks, I like the concept of Linux but differ on the actual implementation.  I also dislike what I hear about the demise of HardDrives, which is just too many for me to consider to be coincidental.
