Mcafee & Trojan Hunter 5

When I run Trojan Hunter 5, my Mcafee virus program pops up the message that it stopped a trojan called "Malformed Archive".  It lists a file in user settings/temp.  When I search for this file, it does not exist. Is this a common thing that happens or is there an underlying problem?  TH5 does not find any problems on my computer when this happens.  Any help appreciated!!! Thanks

Can you tell which file TrojanHunter is scanning when you get this alert?

This is the file path that McAfee shows:
C:\Documents and Settings\Michael Labuda\Local Settings\Temp\Appnd.qeolkogd

If I try to find the file it is not there.  I have the view to show hidden files also.

Is there any way you can determine which file TrojanHunter is scanning when you get this alert?

It is scanning the "c:\program files\family tree maker 2006" files.  The file names go by so fast that I cannot determine which file it is, but it is definately in the family tree maker files.  Is there a way to slow down or get a log of where it detects a problem?

This is what I have found in the McAfee log:

One or more items were detected on your computer.

Detection Name: Malformed Archive (Trojan)
File: c:\documents and settings\michael labuda\local settings\temp\Append.gukqtcqo
Process: c:\program files\trojan hunter 5.0\trojan hunter.exe
Process Descripion: Trojan Hunter Scanner

I hope this helps.

As far as I know such type of program or viruses were placed in folders where we could not see it. I think you can see it in your virus vault
