JAVA Problems?

hey all, i recently updated my java to the latest version, about a week ago.
 
my problems have been recently occuring on the website, MYSPACE.COM [as i'm a teenager, its simply a part of my online expierence], and i've had no java problems lately.
 
however, when i went on a few of my friends myspace's, on MOZILLA FIREFOX i get this error, and it says, Java.Lang.NullPointerException
 
i checked this on internet explorer, and their myspaces seemed to be fine.
 
should i try uninstalling java and installing again? i've already tried uninstalling and re-installing mozilla firefox, and it seems the problem is still there.
the funny thing is, this error doesn't occur on ALL of my friend's myspaces, just a few.
 
so is my java the problem.. or it simply myspace acting up strange?

I doubt if re-installing Java will resolve the Firefox issue.  Perhaps the Firefox forum below can shed some light on this.

hmm. re-installing the java won't do anything quite frankly.
 
however according to most people that have had this java problem, it seems that the errors are within the scripts of the website.
 
so i've come to the conclusion that its probably myspace's scripts problems. oh well, if you guys find anything, please report back here as i really want to fix this problem.
 
hopefully its just myspace, which im thinking that is.

From some links that I read concerning this specific error, it does appear to me to be caused by those specific entries/scripts on MySpace.  I still think you should discuss over at the FireFox forum.  Perhaps it is also a handling bug in FireFox.
