Burning of CD

Hi,
I would like to know if I create an image of a CD using ISO e.g. does all the info. go into the computer and then the info. is copied into another CD?
Can we, now,in this world of today,... copy directly all info. from a CD directly onto another CD.
The binary digits identified by the laser beam travel across buses and then go into the second drive where they are copied onto another CD.
thx

i think that's why most people that do a lot of burning have two optical drives so that they can get the work done faster and not put it all in memory and then transfer it out of memory.

why don't you try a support site like theeldergeek?

or castlecops?

Not sure if this is the question you were asking but I've found the free version of DeepBurner to be fine for making ISO images and burning them to CDs -

Deepburner is good, but I have trouble when copying more than 1000 files to DVD.

You can create iso image of cd using magiciso. It is a pretty good iso creator. You may try it out.

Acoustica MP3 CD Burner 4.32
It burns your music in the order you want it and will let you edit each song to get rid of silence. Burn all the major types of audio files, including MP3, OGG, WMA and WAV.
Not only will it burn your music in the order you want it, but it will let you edit each song to get rid of silence, extra long applauses or fade in and out incomplete songs. Boost or EQ each song individually so that you don't have to constantly adjust the volume dial on your stereo.

Burn all the major types of audio files, including MP3, OGG, WMA and WAV. Rip your CDs to make your own MP3, OGG, WMA or WAV. Squeeze 200 songs on a CD or 1000 songs on a DVD. This software was designed to be easy to use to get the job done.

Instead of just blindly burning incomplete songs that end in the middle, it fades them out. It actually fixes your songs and makes them sound good. It takes low volume songs and adjusts them with special "Boost" and normalization. In addition, you can EQ each song differently and have it burned that way. Power and flexibility. That's what makes this burner different than all the rest.

It can cut out unwanted silence, extra long applauses or DJ commentary. It fits more audio on a CD and make it sound right.

You need just one cilck to import all your CD to your computer. It can rip CD tracks to MP3, OGG, WAV or WMA files.  Grin Smiley
