pc-cillin internet security 2007

Hi,

I'm using pc-cillin IS 2007 and have a problem with the firewall. After i 1st installed it, any program that wanted access to the internet would require user input in the form of a pop-up. Which is what i want. However, after a while i'm not getting those pop-ups anymore for NEW programs that i've installed and that want access to the internet.

E.g. I download some p2p client and it starts up - accesses the internet and all is fine. Except for one thing. Pc-cillin never came up with a pop-up asking me if i want to allow this program access to the internet. This is incrediably annoying because that is the only reason why i want a firewall. To controll which programs get access to the internet and which don't. I know I could do this manually but surely this is a bug in the software.

Anyone use this software and can help me please? (I have the "suspicious software alarm system" on as well).

P.S. what happens when i get spyware on my computer that access the inernet (as most do) and pc-cillin won't pick up on it! If thats the case then my travel from NIS 2006 to PCIS2007 will have to end in McAfeeIS 2007 methinks *sigh*.

I would suggest disabling that Firewall and dowmloading the Comodo Personal Firewall.  It's free and superior to many paid applications.
