For those who do not need the full blown capabilities of Adobe Acrobat Reader, Foxit Reader provides a great freebie that handles reading .PDF files + other features.  Permits the user to fully uninstall Adobe Acrobat Reader (60+ mbytes).

GREAT program.  I found it last week and love it.  I particulalry like that it allows you to copy and paste from a PDF to other files.  The small footprint is an added bonus.
