Symantec has completely revamped LiveUpdate for NIS/NAV.  This new version no longer utilizes the Task Scheduler for scheduled LiveUpdates.  NDetect is no longer in the Task Scheduler.  
 
If you use such programs as ProcessGuard, be sure to check your protected programs concerning LiveUpdate- found in the C:\Program Files\Symantec\LiveUpdate folder.  Names have changed, new executibles added.  
 
After you upgrade, be sure to check that Automatic LiveUpdate is turned ON....if that is your preference.
