I have been using Arovax for a few weeks now. Have read elsewhere that it has caused problems with stability, however I have not had this experience. I run Xp SP2, and no problems yet.
As far as the program itself is concerned, doesn't seem to hog resources, and runs pretty much unnoticed. I cant say much about it's ability to do as it claims, however I have noticed during windows updates etc, it does show up when ever a system file is seemly being altered, so I would hazard to guess that it does work at that level.
Probably not much help, but best I can offer.

Thing is during use of Skinmagic in Windows 98 SE + Internet Explorer 6.0 SP1 explorer crashes. You can check this by downloading and executing SkinMagic Toolkit V2.2  from website http://appspeed.com/page4.html. There will be same error. We already wrote to support, but no reaction for now. We restricted to download arovax shield for now for users with 98 windows, there's a script in download area which tracks what OS user has and if it's 98 it says not to download arovax shield untill next release where compatibility with 98 will be fixed.

Our latest version 1.1.162 has all the problems with Win9x FIXED. Please visit our website and download latest Arovax Shield release.
