By turning on Trojan Hunter do you mean it causes the scanner to start up?

Yes, it launched TH on my PC, only after I disable my firewall, This PC audit is just smoke and mirrors, it can't bypass my firewall. All it does is launch windows explorer and then hooks it to get out, My firewall is set up to block explorer, so PC audit was unable to do anything.

Now when I disable my firewall, or allow explorer to access the Internet, then TH is launch, So for some reason when explorer is launched, so is TH.

So it is just another IE browser hooker Wink  Well that's interesting, makes me wonder how much they are charging for their service.  Man, if I was dishonest I could be rich, the problem with this scare tactics is they don't tell you how they are doing it even after you pay them.

Hey,
I'll give it a try, but if you don't here from me for awhile or I stay signed in it'll be because I can't figure out how to get back on.

Hey,
That seemed pretty lame. After you give them your email address and then allow them access with your firewall they show you what, a screen shot of what you where looking at. TH started up, I'll do a scan, but is this something I need to worry about?

I had tried PCAUDIT 3.0.0.3 couple months ago and still passed the test even with firewall disabled.  Turned out a simple http proxy such as NAVISCOPE was still able to defeat the test.

No he (probably) isn't, what you see is your own info - other people see their own info, too. What vampirefo1 did was to include a link to a script on www.auditmypc.com, which shows you your info.

I have to say - and this is not a joke - that vampirefo1 has acted irresponsibly in the extreme. He really should know better. To post a link on this forum - without any warning - that extracts private user information (whether it be publicly accessible is of no relevance) without the consent of the user is a disgrace.

The information this graphic posts is given out to every site you visit and is not private.  And besides, who is going to see it?  If the graphic changes depending on the user, then would it not hold true that only the user visiting would see the information?

I have to say - and this is not a joke - that maxqnz has acted irresponsibly in the extreme.  Such paranoia should not be tolerated in the electronic world.

What does maxqnz have to do with this? At any rate, you are only seeing your own information in the picture - noone else can see it. The image links to an image generator at AuditMyPC that creates the picture with your information on-the-fly and displays it.

I hope I didn't upset you reposting the image you did, I was just surprised to see someone else apparently using the same ISP I do.
