Removing Norton & symantec files ?

Hi ! On removing 'Norton & Symantec' files because I don't use any products.....I noticed system restore didn't upload & also windows update !
 
Reinstalled the files & everything was OK !
 
Should I be able to delete all traces of Norton ?
 
Any help is appreciated !

Sometime uninstalling via Add/Remove program doesn't completely remove NAV.  You may need to download Rnav2003 from their website and run it.
