SpyCop DB Update Available.

New database release date: 01/07/2003
New # of detectable spy programs: 335+
Version available on website: v5.2c
By now, everyone knows to un-install the previous version first (when a new program version comes out).
Hope everyone also realizes that the first scan with the new version (after checking for updates) has to be a full scan - after that you can go back to using the "Only scan files that were created after the last scan" option (found when you click the "Settings" button).
You need to do the same thing when there's a DB update.

When a database update is released, doing a full scan is the only way to ensure that every file is re-checked. We recommend that a full scan be completed every couple of weeks to ensure that existing files are rechecked with the new signatures for this reason.
